The Lighthouse.

When the nights grow long,
You feel lost and alone.
No one sees the tears,
No one knows the pain.
You need to feel loved,
Touched by that someone.

Look out the window,
Look towards the sea.
Beyond the city lights,
And the forest trees,
Through the mist and fog,
Shining through a bright ray of light.

Like a warm ray of sun,
Drying in morning dew,
You bask in the warm rays of light,
Your love, hopes, dreams in sight.

On the rocky shores,
Firm against the stormy sea,
Standing tall and proud, a Lighthouse.
A Lighthouse – that is me.
